Time’s running out for workshops to place their entries into The Blend Awards, which takes place at the highly anticipated annual conference and networking event for independent garage owners in Birmingham on 7th October.

Submissions to The Blend’s ‘Garage of the Year Award’ and ‘Staff Recognition Award’, both of which are open to any UK and Ireland independent garage, should be made by 31st July online at: https://www.theblend.events/awards.

Garage of the Year is set to recognise independent garages that have demonstrated exceptional care for their team, have offered superior service to their customers, and have implemented strategic improvements to their business. The Staff Recognition Award will celebrate the ‘unsung heroes’ who have navigated challenges with resilience and used their skills to enhance their garage’s performance.

Award entries will be evaluated by a panel of industry judges, with the nominees to be announced on 30th August. Other award categories include ‘Community Garage of the Year’, which will be determined by a Garage Hive community poll, while ‘Community Member of the Year’ and ‘Early Adopter Excellence Award’ will be selected by Garage Hive.

Organised by community-driven garage management software Garage Hive, The Blend 2023 is open to all garage owners across the UK and Ireland, with the promise of a unique opportunity to meet industry insiders and like-minded peers.

The evening dinner and awards ceremony on the 7th October at The Eastside Rooms in Birmingham will follow a trade show during the day and an impressive line-up of renowned industry figures. The day promises to bring a wide range of insightful talks, including fresh tips and advice on how to boost workshop efficiency and performance.
