Opus IVS, leading provider of diagnostics solutions backed by OE master technicians, says excitement is building ahead of Automechanika Birmingham.
The UK’s largest automotive trade exhibition returns to Birmingham’s NEC from 6th to 8th June. With over two months remaining, organiser Messe Frankfurt UK says garage visitor registration has already exceeded last summer’s successful UK Garage & Bodyshop Event.
Opus IVS will have a vehicle on stand W70 for live demonstration of their extensive remote services capability. The Remote Assist Program (RAP) enables customers to use their DrivePro™ device with the support of OEM-trained master technicians.
“We’re really looking forward to being back at Automechanika Birmingham,” said Karl Booth, Head of Sales for UK and ROW at Opus IVS. “It’s a valuable opportunity to demonstrate diagnostics solutions that can save time with first-time fixes and boost garage profits by helping them retain more work.”
The appointment-based RAP service brings independent garages enhanced capability to complete a huge range of complex programming and coding jobs on-demand. Technicians simply carry out a few basic pre-call tasks, Opus IVS technicians then do the rest; pre and post programming checks ensure a complete end-to-end solution.
The Opus IVS DrivePro™ Elite diagnostic tablet offers a remote services VCI and coverage for 64 brands. It comes with IVS 360™ live support included, bringing access to a team of over one hundred brand-specific OE master technicians.
Automechanika Birmingham was last held four years ago before the Covid pandemic, making the return eagerly anticipated. Organisers promise the ‘biggest event to date’. Attractions will include free technical talks and panel discussions on new technology along with more than 500 exhibitors from across the aftermarket and supply chain.
