HELLA releases rear lights for Volkswagen ID. Buzz

The latest product release from HELLA is a range of rear lights for the Volkswagen ID. Buzz.

With EVs continuing to make inroads into the car parc, and electric vans becoming increasingly common, Volkswagen’s retro-futurist update of the classic Type 2 is covering multiple bases. The vehicle, sold as a passenger car for families as well as a van, is based on the dedicated electric MEB platform, and can travel up to 258 miles on a single charge. It was also named as ‘Best Large Electric Car’ in the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2024.

“The quirky Volkswagen ID. Buzz is already a well-liked sight on our roads,” said Helen Goldingay, UK Marketing and Communications Manager at HELLA, “and at HELLA we want to make sure that as well as being seen, it is also visible.” HELLA’s rear light release is comprised of six individual part numbers. They include five LED tail light assemblies including stop lights and tail lights for the left side, centre and right side, as well as a tail gate cover.

The new parts release will be followed by more references from HELLA as support for the vehicle widens. “With HELLA having covered the rear light requirement for the ID. Buzz,” said Helen, “we will soon be moving up the vehicle. Coming soon; headlamps.”
