Community-driven garage management software Garage Hive has confirmed the team will exhibit at the new EV Ready event, being held at Brighton Racecourse on 25th January.
Show organisers Garage Wire claim EV Ready will be the UK’s first independent garage event dedicated entirely to electric vehicle skills, equipment and technology.
For Garage Hive, EV Ready brings an opportunity to meet forward-thinking garages looking to invest in moving their businesses ahead in the ever-changing aftermarket. Their stand will be staffed by Garage Hive director Alex Lindley, alongside other members of the team.
“Trade shows and exhibitions give us a great opportunity to speak to garage owners and managers away from the immediate pressures and distractions of their busy workshops,” said Alex. “EV Ready is a new concept but it’s trying to inform garages considering meeting the growing demand for electric vehicle service and repair, so we wanted to support it.”
Garage Hive is similarly focused on helping its growing garage customer base maximise opportunities. The system recently unveiled new connectivity with tScan. This integration enables real-time tyre scanning, making identification and generation of tyre replacement and wheel alignment quotations fast and accurate.
“Garages need to keep moving ahead and those getting involved with electric vehicles will often also be open to looking at other opportunities to improve,” said Alex. “Garage Hive is already well proven as a great fit for garage owners aiming to grow profitable and successful businesses.”
The EV Ready event runs for one evening only and features a panel discussion from experts including Peter Melville of the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance (HEVRA), author Tom Denton, Ben Stockton of Our Virtual Academy, Paul Dineen of Servicesure and Quentin Le Hetet of GiPA.
The two EV Ready garage panelists are both Garage Hive customers already; Matt Cleevely of Cleevely Motors is an award-winning and renowned independent EV specialist, while Kevin Pearce of Cedar Garage will be offering his perspective as a garage in the process of making investments to meet EV demand.
