Community-driven garage management software, Garage Hive has been named Garage Management System of the Year at the Independent Garage Association’s (IGA) British Independent Garage (BIG) Awards 2023.
Assessed by an expert independent panel of judges, the win in the new category evidences Garage Hive’s continuing rise to prominence within the independent sector.
The BIG Awards was held at Leicester City Football Club on Friday 22nd September, and was hosted by Mark Durden-Smith, known for presenting TV shows such as ITV2’s ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here! Now’, ITV’s ‘Aviva Premiership Rugby Highlights’ and Sky 1’s ‘The Match’.
“We really liked the concept of the BIG Awards and the aim of highlighting all the excellent garages within our sector,” said Ray Dilsons, Managing Director of Garage Hive. “Simply getting shortlisted and invited to attend and support was an excellent result for Garage Hive but to win is fantastic recognition for the whole team and our growing user community.”
The BIG Awards aims to shine light on independent garage excellence by showcasing the commitment and innovation shown by businesses and individuals across 18 diverse categories. Garage Management System of the Year Award, was one of nine newly launched awards for 2023.
Garage Hive’s honour comes as it prepares for The Blend 2023, an annual conference and networking event for independent garage owners. Taking place in Birmingham on Saturday 7th October, the sell-out event is set to bring garage owners a choice of renowned industry speakers and a trade show during the day, with an evening dinner and its own awards ceremony on the evening.
