Garage Hive inspires at 1TEC Auto Hub Connect

Community-driven Garage Management Software, Garage Hive had a strong presence at the 1TEC Auto Hub Connect event last week. Taking place on 19th January at The Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, it brought together industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and innovations.

A ‘Community Connections’ panel session was a key highlight of the day. Garage Hive Director Alex Lindley was invited as a guest panellist alongside Tina Drayson of CCM and Nathan Taylor of Walsall Wood Tyre & Service, chaired by renowned TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith. The session explained how independent garage businesses can leverage tools, including data, social media, and marketing, to strengthen operations and boost customer reach.

“It was an epic event with some top industry minds in attendance,” said Alex. “I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to discuss how garages can harness the power of data and stay ahead of the game. With Garage Industry Trends, they’re able to freely access reliable data which will help them make informed business decisions.”

In total, five enthused Garage Hive workshops each shared unique insight during scheduled talks at 1TEC Auto Hub Connect. In addition to Nathan Taylor, Matt Cleevely of Cleevely Group, Tim Benson of Oldfields Garage, and Kev Pearce of Cedar Garage each drew-upon their own business experiences.

“We’re extremely proud to have seen so many workshops from our community sharing their expertise at this trade event,” said Alex. “This collective presence not only underscores the growing influence of Garage Hive in the industry but also reflects the shared commitment to excellence and innovation among our user community.”

Founded in 2023 by a consortium of prominent automotive brands, 1TEC Auto Hub aims to support the most innovative and forward-thinking workshops in the UK and Ireland.
