Garage Hive grows support team

Community-driven garage management software Garage Hive has increased the team supporting its growing customer base.

Marcis Eglitis and Reuben Yeatman have both joined the business in recent weeks as Software Support Consultants. Although new to the automotive aftermarket, Marcis joins with customer service experience in recruitment, Reuben meanwhile brings with an established software support background.

Garage Hive takes great efforts to ensure the experience of switching to their management system is as simple as possible. All new independent garages follow a structured on-boarding process. Checklists ensure data migration, information gathering on business operations, remote training and on-site training are all completed before ‘going live’. After this, extensive support is available both from the user community Facebook group and directly from the Garage Hive team.

“We’re delighted to welcome Reuben and Marcis to further enhance our support team,” said Ray Dilsons, Managing Director of Garage Hive. “Garage Hive is a sophisticated system with a wealth of features and lots of functionality that benefits customers.

“Of course, we recognise that this brings its own challenges – garage owners are busy so its important we take a long term view and help customers to progressively realise the benefits.”

As part of this continual development process, the Software Support Consultants will be available to field all kinds of day-to-day questions promptly. These can vary from something quick and functional to more complex projects requiring revised working practices or integration with accounts systems for example.

“We find a very consistent pattern in that the more customers use Garage Hive, the more they like it and the greater the business benefit,” said Ray. “This means it’s in everyone’s interest to help customers understand and access features.”
