Easy2Recruit CEO in Aftermarket Event panel discussion

Easy2Recruit founder and CEO Ambi Singh will be sharing his wisdom as part of the panel discussion programme at the Aftermarket Event on Thursday 3rd October, where he will be taking part in the ‘Healthy Retention in the Aftermarket’ debate.

The all-new show is taking place 2nd-3rd October at Farnborough International, with the speaker programme running in the Top Garage Theatre across the two days.

“I’m delighted to be taking part in the inaugural Aftermarket Event,” said Ambi, “where I will be able to offer my views and experiences on the importance of staff retention as part of an overall business strategy.” Joining Ambi in the debate will be a number of industry luminaries, including AAK Autos CEO Antony Jhally and Ben’s Head of Outreach Ellen Plumer, with HR Vitals’ Director Jennifer Webb chairing the session.

Ambi’s wide experience in the sector will inform his participation in the debate. As well as running Easy2Recruit, the agency helping garages to hire overseas talent, he also owns and operates Coventry’s Binley Woods Service Centre: “As a garage owner I know the obstacles and challenges that garages face when it comes to staff recruitment and retention. This is what inspired the formation of Easy2Recruit, and why so many garages are coming to us to help fill vacant roles.”

Easy2Recruit launched in June 2023 and helps garages to recruit technicians from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India. The company manages the whole process for the garage and provides all the pastoral care for the overseas technician, from the visa application to booking the flight to arranging accommodation.

Alongside the core offering, Easy2Recruit has also launched Student2Skill, which pairs international students studying in the UK with garages looking for part-time workers. The international graduate placement programme recently saw its first candidate start work.

Easy2Recruit is also the authorised recruitment supplier for the National Body Repair Association (NBRA).

“The independent garage sector has been dealing with the growing skills crisis for many years,” said Ambi, “and this panel discussion provides an opportunity to look at how improving retention can help businesses grow and enable them to plan for tomorrow.”

Visitors will be able to listen to Ambi in the ‘Healthy Retention in the Aftermarket’ discussion from 10:00-10:45 on Thursday 3rd October.
